Skills & Requirements

  • Graphic Design major preferred
  • Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals
  • Experience with InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Strong creative and analytical skills
  • Compelling portfolio of graphic design work

Responsibilities

  • Create and design print and digital materials
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadline
  • Retouch and manipulate images
  • Use graphic design software and work with a wide variety of media
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and Graphic Design Manager to develop design concepts
  • Receive feedback from the Creative Director and Graphic Design Manager and make necessary changes
  • Assemble final presentation material for printing as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • An excellent writer: You are succinct, clear, engaging, and you understand how content, tone, and voice affect the usability of a product, app, landing page, and website.
  • An enthusiastic collaborator: You are able to work with people from different disciplines to get the job done.
  • Comfortable working iteratively: You will learn how to move quickly and routinely incorporate feedback into your process.
  • Perpetually curious: You are passionate about learning, improving your craft, following industry trends, etc.
  • Someone who thrives on problem-solving to meet the needs of real people: You understand the importance of grounding your decisions in research, data, and best practices.
